RAZBAM: T-2 Buckeye

Recommended Posts

first RAZBAM confirmation project

After talking with the higher ups, and to show you the way our stuff is modeled in FSX (all pics are in game, and the panel pics are not renders), the functionality etc , i´m including the T-2 Buckeye´s user´s manual.

The T-2 Buckeye will most likely be our very first product into DCS.

MS FS Manual here

This is Great!! What's even better is the fact it will be as detailed as The DCS A-10C system wise.

Here are few screenshot of the T-2. Ron has been working hard on setting up the control surfaces and learning this impressive new sim. I for one, really love the rendering engine, and the people here are very passionate about it.

New info:

We are happy to see the DCS crowd reaction to our T-2 Buckeye DCS version. The T-2 Buckeye is anything but pretty, nor any of the high end rock and roll aircraft (yet it´s contribution to form countless numbers of naval aviators in USN and in former FAV and STILL keeps Greece pilots on their toes) but community reaction has been very positive. Thanks for that guys!

and new exterior and cockpit HUD pics.

Out for another round of testing missions, the load out is the same, not just because the aircraft itself is extremely limited on this matters, but also, because it gives us some flexibility on the weapons choice and the tests (next we´ll put the gun pods)

It's DCS Wednesday. By the end of the day most if not all of the switches and levers in the T-2 Cockpit will be active. Functionality will be coded immediately afterwards.

Today we were testing the armament panel logic and the airbrakes. Disclaimers: I am lousy at bombing. Animations are WIP, this is a logic test not an animation test. Yes, I was releasing from a too low altitude and I should have been smoked out of the air by my own bombs. Damage logic will be among the last stuff to go. The gunsight needs to be zeroed. Enjoy!

CptSmiley, EFM F-16 maker, join RAZBAM on T-2 BuckEye AFM develop

Hi guys, I'm a big fan of communication and providing periodic updates to what's going on. I'm going to try to give updates of the air vehicle dynamics development of the T-2 on either a weekly or once every two week basis, it all depends on how fast things come together. In any event, I'll post those updates here.

So for the first updates, I'll lay the ground work...

(1) The T-2 will most certainly be AFM

(2) The T-2 will be a great "stick and rudder" plane to learn on. I feel that combat and civilian pilots alike will enjoy this aircraft due to the "trainer" nature of it.

(3) These "flight model" updates will include anything vehicle dynamics related (not cockpit, 3d model, or avionics subsystems) so I'll be happy to discuss anything related to the flight control systems, aerodynamics, landing gear systems, etc.

I'm very excited to be working on this aircraft as there is plenty of data to work with and should be very fun to fly and I hope to give you guys a quality flight model along with the high quality the rest of the team is delivering (avionics, weapons, 3d cockpit and model).
