The details are very well done. You can see control cables, and lots of fine details if you look close.

Small town in Alaska. Note the snow covered roofs. Snow looks a little flat honestly. Should have a spec or normal on there to bring out some details.

I never thought I'd say this but, I want to get home from vacation NOW! :D I call the red Carbon Cub!

That answers a question I had in my head, if aircraft would be usable in different areas. Can we fly the RV6 in Alaska for example. The shots with the Maule and Steerman show that's possible. The cub with Tundra tires would come in handy landing on Hawaii's beaches.

Hmm, the forests and mountains aren`t looking bettter than the ones in FSX, I´m a bit dissapointed.

But at least there is ice on the water.

 

For me it looks not like a Super Cub nor a Carbob Cub. Looks like a normal J-3 Cub.

You do know there is snow in Alaska even in the summer months? Not saying there aren't going to be seasons, but this doesn't prove it!!

Don't make me too excited guys (though I really am now). I have 2 more exams for the school year and doing this makes me think about Flight instead of exams. :(

If you watch the Webisode 5 for Flight, there is a short shot of a town in Alaska, in summer, without snow. Later MS released a screenshot of that same town in snow. More recently, they released a bunch of screenshots showing conifer trees, not found in Hawaii, and none with snow. The video shows that same conifer tree WITH snow. Its not pure proof, ill give you that, but its more supporting proof along with the earlier one.

Thanks for the shots Kevin! I like the snow covered buildings. One of the first things i am going to do is jump out of the aircraft and tour the towns on foot in the snow, LOL.

I sure hope there is another aircraft included other than the Cub. i like it, but man is it slow.

 

seasons are great, but dynamic weather is a must for Alaska, i sure hope that is included..

The second image, some of the trees are darker, is it because terrain shadow cast on those trees?
