Eh? I seem to recall very clearly that PMDG announced a A3xx for FSX as a "surprise" package for FS X as they were always making packages of US made planes. So now is this them going back on their word?

Far as I know, Airbus planes are built in France, well assembled anyway. You are slightly contradicting yourself. The surprise is a DC6, certainly not a Airbus.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I understand that Robert said the reason why PMDG would never make an Airbus is the simple fact that they don't have access to the design information as in the same way that they have for the Boeings. I'm pretty sure I read that on the forum...

That may not be the case soon, Airbus wants to assemble the A320 in Alabama which would provide badly needed jobs.

They don't need Airbus for the help, just cooperation with an Airbus operator.
