Trim, planes goes up

Recommended Posts

I programed a key to the Saitek Pro yoke , it doesnt do anything, and plane goes up, also I have the Cessna trim wheel and doesnt work and plane goes up.

When programing the game doesnt seem to let me program the Cessna wheel for trim.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The wheel may not work with Flight, I do not recall seeing a trim axis. The yoke on the other hand shouldn't be giving you any problems, I have trim set to all of the thumb switches and it works just fine; I would recommend double checking your key bindings.

You could also set the trim to a keyboard key like the arrow keys.....

You can also do that, however, if you have the saitek yoke it has three thumb toggles, one of the left side, perfect for elevator and two on the right side which I have set to aileron and rudder. If you have this setup you don't have to take your hands off of the yoke to make trim adjustments.

I'm using the Pro Flight Yoke System and I have Pitch trim set on B1 and B2. Yaw Trim set on C1 and C2. I use the keyboard for roll trim. No problems setting it up. I have manually edited the controls file though, for some reason it now leaves out the repeat line for yaw trim.
