Yeah its an old thread but I only just got this plane and boy it is hard to fly but so much fun! Still working my way through the PDF files but had some short test flights and loved it!

LOL..the first time I flew it I thought, "This thing made out of plastic?"  It's so light on the controls.  You get used to it.

Noticed today looking at the Real Air site that the Lancair is 50% it's original price. That's a great price for a pretty much perfect aircraft.

 

I remember my first time flying it I tried an aerobatic maneuver, had an accelerated stall, spun it and failed to recover. That's when i realized she can bite. This plane taught me sooo much about the rules of flight and really made me understand angle of attack and lift. Made me a better pilot in every plane, what an incredible little masterpiece this was.

Which is why I grabbed it :)

 

Sure is a speedy little beast though and had I some issues lining it up for landing and controlling descent in a controlled way :)
