Landing Lights

Recommended Posts

One thing I noticed tonight in the Maule, is that the landing lights are not anywhere near bright enough. Will have to try some other aircraft, but if they are all like that, this is something that needs to be fixed.

I'm going to bump this thread up, because I cannot believe that everyone thinks that the landing lights in Flight are adequate, unless the landing lights in all my aircraft need their lamps replaced, Is there anyone that flys and lands at night that can screen shot what their lights look like once they touch down or even on short final, as far as runway illumination goes.

I found that the landing lights behave a lot like the underpowered ones on the C172S I use. They definitely make a difference on a new moon, but generally are only good for being seen instead of illuminating the ground.

Maybe others do share your thoughts but you have spent the majority of the past 3 days chasing down everyone who dared say anything negative about Alaska or pointing out things they didn't like and replying with holier than thou snarky remarks and other long standing members called you out on it.. Now here you are doing exactly the same thing you were down other peoples throats for doing.. So, I don't know maybe that's why no one replied.

No, what I jab at is people that seem to go out of their way to find every negative thing they can say about Flight, and would it should have and what it should look like.

I do remember the landing lights on my old C-150 as being bright enough to see the runway just before touch down. Also I must say that the runway lights in Alaska now seem to be much more intense, just as I remember. The runway lights in Hawaii were very weak, made them very hard to see any distance out.

Ok I'll bite. Yeah I find the landing lights a little dim also... could be fixed. But probably not really a priority. Maybe in a later patch.
