But if you don't mind no auto throttle and a bit of hand flying, the ERJ V2 package is the real gem in my opinion.

 

That's funny, it had an auto throttle on the flight I just took on the E-170, in fact it handled FLCH, VNAV with speed intervene, Speed modes. Works pretty well!! I do agree it is an excellent simulation of the E-Jet series, especially V2!!

Hmm that's probably because you're flying the E-170, not the ERJ package ;)

 

To be clear the ERJ package is ERJ-135, 145, etc. Whereas EMB-170 is commonly referred to as the EJets.

I really think their marketing people screwed up in calling it the EJet, especially if they were after sales from Aer Lingus, 'eejit' has a completely different meaning in Ireland.

 

And on the subject of biz jets incidentally, the Xtreme Prototypes LearJet 23 is on Flight Sim Deal of the Day today for 12.47 Dollars.

Anyone know of any good liveries for the Lineage-1000????

 

Color me interested in that too, I flew the old ERJ back in FS9 days and would love to pick this up as a longer range biz jet. I enjoyed the X back in FS9 days but the cockpit just looks way too outdated for me. So this sounds like a natural step in my planned step by step plan to work myself up to larger aircraft.

Well got the E-Jet - So far so good just had a look at it not done a flight yet, t'is next!
