Undocumented out of scenery airport

Featured Replies

I flew down to Masset, BC in the Queen Charlotte islands. Looks like they have broken ground on the Masset airport and even installed fuel pumps and an NDB. Perhaps upcoming scenery of the west coast is in the works? If you fly across the Bering Strait to Russia, its looks like the Sahara, doesn't seem like it would take much to add trees at least. They've taken some time to put some basic scenery into a least the adjoining sections of BC

No coffee shop though...

So many hints, so many possibilities.......

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Would be really nice if Canada was offered in Flight someday. This airport is modelled quite nicely in FSX as one of those rare water/asphalt runways, complete with sunken windsock and building. Sometimes happens whith UTX installed as it has more accurate coastlines..or perhaps due to the melting glaciers?

There are others at Telegraph Creek, Iskut Lake and one near where Whitehorse should been. This is Telegraph Creek and Dease Lake

There's also Sandspit Airport, down in BC south of the "real" map, although the VOR/DME shows up on our map. (114.1) Nice place -- along with the VOR equipment, it even has a radio tower and a large fuel tank -- but no runways. Weird...

There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.

I flew to Prince Rupert BC last night. The airport is grass with a fuel tank and some lights. The town is very well populated with buildings.

I checked the Russian coast along the Bering straight. The resolution there is very poor. I wonder if the next expansion is going to be the PNW.

At Worlds End?

That looks cool! I want to land the icon on that water, and then go down the slope!

Oh man, I've GOT to see that!

Well they have been warning us of rising sea levels for some time now! lol

Hey, how come they don't use that water texture for inland bodies of water?
