Flight Plans USA

Hi, I want to fly some flights in the US and use real life Flight Plans. I have seen a few links while browsing this forum on my phone and like an idiot i didn't bookmark them. I have also had a good old search but i am coming up with nothing. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a site that provides this? I have tried Flight Aware but i cant see any flight plans there or i don't know how to find them on that site if they do them?

Flightaware.com. On the main page, type in a departure city and an arrival city (KPHX and KLAX for example) and click Search. Click on the flight you want. For example, SWA2516. Click that and you will find the routing, speed, aircraft, and altitude.

 

You can also download timetables from airlines such as American, Delta, and United along with timetables from Oneworld and Star Alliance. These have flights, times, and days they fly however there is no routing.

 

You can also use FSBuild to create flight plans and it automatically builds flight plans with its own routing.

You can also get a table of all the plans filed. Click on pilot resorces and it should bring you to a page. Scrool down till you see "recently used IFR". Click on that and enter the two airports you want and there you go. Thats the way i do it. Also check out Vataware.com. Also a very good site.

I personally recommend FSBuild since it generates flight plans automatically and calculate required fuel (for a variety of A/Cs) precisely. It's worth your every penny.

Sadly it's only for the US. I hope they can expand to Europe and South America for you to be able to find a route between KJFK-EGLL. SimRoutes does this and it gives you the daily NAT route as well.

I would actually strongly recommend avoiding this one - it doesn't seem to take into account standard routings, airway direction restrictions, flight planning requirements, etc. It just finds the shortest possible route along the airways system.
