Any news on the 172 development? It was going to be my next purchase, but I couldn't help myself. I bought the Lancair. But I'm hyped on the 172s coming up. My only RL flight time.

Would be good to hear something! Some money to spend, save it for this or go buy something else. A release date is not needed, but mid, end 2013 or sometime 2014, a clue would help, and not "coming soon"!

"pretty close" for one might be 2 weeks, for another 6 months. I think this is very much speculating at the moment. A2A has not given any idea on there site nor their facebook page

They have provided the C172 hangar screen on their forum, so it means we will see it here in few weeks. I do not follow their every development, but if they do provide some news like this, that means the Cessna is close. At least 'close' for me.
