Jack_C Do you Really Need Speedbrakes VIDEO?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I have used Jack_C's great turtorial videos for managing VNAV descents in the past, when I go back to those posts now (links below) the videos have been removed from vimeo. Does anyone know if these videos are available elsewhere or if anyone has them can they reupload them please.

I watched this video and the trick was to descent with higher speed before rich 10K altitude.

In practical He gradually set higher speed to 310 with speed intervention, this brings the aircraft a lot below Vnav path, and then before some thousand feet above 10k return to VANV to bleed the speed to 250 as normal operation.

Anther most important aspect is to fill forecast page and use flap to really slow down for approach.

I hope didn't forgot something or tell you wrong stuff but for me it works really well.
