Great pictures!!! Can I ask who's aircraft that is? Is that jetcity 717?

Hi!

Great post sir. I like that you fly the SID's and STAR's and proper flight plan. Some cool pics of the deserts around Phoenix and the city on approach too. Just out of curiosity did you fly the STAR and then get vectors to final? How can I do that? Do I need to use Vatsim or can you get the FS ATC to do that?

Many thanks.

Brpogorek, Thanks for kind words!! Your guess is correct!!!! Or it could be HJG model. I do not remember but JetCity and HJG models have same model characteristics. HJG model is basically improved model of JetCity one.

Pierre,

Thanks for kind words. You can do that on your own offline or on Vatsim. For take offs and arrivals, there are airport charts on internet that you can consult for specific airports that you can use whether you are flying offline or online with Vatsim. FSX default ATC cannot do that BUT when FSX default ATC tells you which runway to land or take off, you can consult airport charts for proper arrival or take off depending which runway you are being assigned to.

As for vatsim, you use airport charts unless there is vatsim controller on duty, you use airport chart or follow controller's orders. For example, I was supposed to go to runway 25 but due to wind change, the controller gave me minute by minute orders telling me what heading to go to head to new runway direction.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Aharon
