A good DC-3/DC-2 and Alaska scenery? Suggestions?

Hi Manny,

I see you got tyhe FSX version of our DC2.

That's good.

Therefor I'd like to correct this:

The UIVER (Flight 1) DC-2 is a bit old i.e. it is a port over to FSX, but it is an excellent simulation of the DC-2 and is one that I would recommend to anybody

Although I must thank you, Al, for your positive words, I must correct you on the port over bit. We have a full native FSX version, even with animated 3D gauges.

Thanks for supporting the Aviodrome, and keeping their Douglas DC2 airworthy.

Best, Rob Cappers

"UIVER" Team.

Hi, Rob.

I guess Alan had the intermediate version in mind when stating about the port over character. There was some version before the current (native) one in FSX, right?

Either way, she's worth getting and if this helps the folks from the museum, it's even better.

Yep,that's correct, we started with a FS9 version, which could be ported to FSX. Then we developed an all new FSX version

There is a review here on Avsim http://www.avsim.com/pages/0511/Flight1/DC2.html

Cheers, guys.
