July 24, 201213 yr Are you using the default A321? That thing is crazy overpowered, and in general, its flight model sucks. I used to use it to land at Lindbergh (KSAN). That was a nightmare. Try using the PA A320. It has a pretty good flight model, and it doesn't accelerate crazily. Total Distance Flown: 65,141.138 Nautical Miles (In reality-------I don't have THAT much time to waste on FSX).

July 26, 201213 yr Author What about employing a controlled stall? If I do that, then it has no choice but to come down with a low airspeed reading. I could then use the engines to control the descent rate.
