Yeah it does, the plane has to have a vc though. They're not bmp files anymore they're part of the model

I almost fell out of my chair when I saw that Niclas removed the "FSX is dead" out of his sig and posted pic from FSX. However I will probably have a heart attack if Ed posted an FSX screen. :LMAO:

Nice shots Niclas and welcome to the so called "Dark side" as some call it :-) Like the sky and clouds as well, guessing your using the HDEv2 for FSX as well? Still the best sky/cloud combo imho.

Thanks alot :)..It feels rather good to be on the dark side, hehe. I´m using HDEv2 for dusk and dawn sky texture, REX for day and FEX for the clouds.

Agreed, Ed moving over to FSX would be, Hammer and Tongs, Humans with Six fingers, Dogs and Cats living together! Nics old shots looked so good anyway I never noticed he switched over.

Hahah :LMAO:,.With other word, it never gonna happen

Hi!

Beautiful pics sir. Mind if I ask what route it was? I still use Fs9 for my airline flying because clouds in FsX kill my FPS. I tried resizing, tweaking, everything. But I love FsX for VFR for now.

Many thanks.

Pierre

Thanks Pierre. What hardware do you have? To bad you can´t fly commercial airline in FSX. The route was ENZV to EKCH and the flightplan was generated by Vroute

I thought FSX didn't support 2D side views...

It does not, but I found a gauge that makes it possible to have fixed 2D side views in FSX http://library.avsim....zip&CatID=root

Nope, "Fixed window" side views as I have on my screenies are not supported in FSX and I have disabled VC completely in the iFly model. But with a gauge made by Joao Muas it´s possible to have pure 2D sideviews.

Custom build or pre-build?

Great pics!

Thanks Chris. The computer is custom build by me :)

Great 737 action shots Niclas!

I see you reworked the iFly feature pack to your own taste with a *very yummie* 2D photoreal panel...

Excellent work!

Did you manage to find the real-world SAS customer options to set-up your -600 accordingly?

Best Regards,

Sylvain

Thanks Sylvain! The panel is the result of a couple of hundreds of hours work and about 2000 custom made bitmaps B) . I´m very happy with it now, hehe No, I have not found these real options :( ..do you know where to find?

I don't have a list of the SAS options unfortunately... but I'll get back to you on this subject if I find more info.

Photoreal livery and 2d panel surely need the real world options isn't it?? ;-)

Sylvain

Download my repaints at AVSIM.

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D - Radeon RX 7800 XT 16Gb - 2x16Gb DDR5 - Asus Prime B650-Plus - W11 - MSFS2020 & MSFS2024

How very interesting. No 2D sideviews certainly made FSX an absolute nono for me.....so someone has found a workaround. Where there is the will there is a way. :Applause:

Will that gauge just work with the iFly NG? Or is there a way you can use it for other planes too.

Thanks

Absolutely, it´s a must to have real world options. I found this but don´t know how accurate it is: http://www.pprune.or...0-sas-b738.html

This gauge will work for any aircraft..It was originally made for Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100 :)

I didn´t know about lack of support of 2d in FSX until a few days ago when I was about to do the first test flight with the iFly mod. I was a little chocked and confused what to do, and for a moment I saw FS9 around the corner Nail%20Biting.gif . But thanks to my friend google I found the solution

From what I can see from a quick peek at the gauge it could be used for any aircraft.

As for temptation... I am having a short break from FS as I am being annoyed by niggling problems (maybe my rig).

Stunning Set!

I'll be right with him when I have the money/time to upgrade to an i7 machine (plus the extra time to tweak the heck out of FSX). FS9 is still great for now...

What I liked about Flight is it just worked. Wish someone else other than Joshua was at the helm so we'd have a nice successor to the FS series.
