September 23, 201213 yr Skip the CS777, it's far behind in development and it's definitely not on par with their previous releases (yet at least). It will probably be finished by the time PMDG's version is out and we all know CS will only be better in graphic quality, even if i believe CS can make nice planes (when they're willing to). September 23, 201213 yr [...] CS will only be better in graphic quality, [...] I highly doubt that. Look at the latest 777 exterior previews. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
September 23, 201213 yr I saw on Wikipedia that the estimated release of the triple seven will be in Q4 2012, so it is on a final approach! I guess... And yes, the PMDG 777 exterior will be superb!!! Very nice first impressions, I like the big GE-engines I highly doubt that. Look at the latest 777 exterior previews. September 23, 201213 yr Dont listen to Wikipedia. Anyone can change that, this forum is the most accurate place for info Lee
September 23, 201213 yr I understand it completely, but I wonder why PMDG is so quite recently. There weren't that many previews on the model, no flight deck only exterior. So this gives an idea that it could take a few months longer? It is possible that it will be released in 2013 I guess. All in all I also understand that it is important to deliver a high quality product, therefore the time is needed. September 23, 201213 yr I highly doubt that. Look at the latest 777 exterior previews. I did, clearly inferior to CS. Keep in mind i'm talking about GRAPHIC QUALITY, it's not accuracy, as i know the CS model has a few flaws. September 23, 201213 yr I did, clearly inferior to CS. Keep in mind i'm talking about GRAPHIC QUALITY, it's not accuracy, as i know the CS model has a few flaws. The PMDG will beat the CS 777 in Graphic quality hands down, no competition, no sweat, no worrying, ask no more, fullstop. I screwed up and bought the CS 777 some time back, no patience got the best of me.
September 23, 201213 yr I still have the good 'ol Posky 777 for FS9, with a few tremendous reprints from Tom Collins. The flight dynamics of that plane are nowhere near real - a 777 does not stall at 87 knots, but during the wait it is a good distraction from the PMDG 777. Let's be honest, the Posky model is not that bad and keep in mind - it's freeware. With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
September 23, 201213 yr I never had good experience with freeware, always had payware. But of them all, these are which I rate the BEST of the BEST: 1. Level-D 767, my favourite plane, very reliable and these engine sounds are just PERFECT!! 2. PMDG MD-11, I love the systems and AUTOFLIGHT in this one, sounds are good as well!! The model is superb!! They should have add a modified classic DC-10 to the pack! (co-favourite) 3. PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies, has the right to be a true Queen in all! 4. PMDG 737, very nice plane, a bit heavy on the fps though. Also, FMC is more complex I guess. I had a buffet alert when flying. So I thought the weights were in kg's?? nevermind, still learn to master it. 5. Wilco 737 EVO, very nice add-on, perfectly handable 737 Older Generation. These I love as much as the NG. 6. QW 757, a fine airplane. It is far better than the CS757>>>CS767 cockpit is the same, strange, a round PFD display. Also noticed the low amount of flight info on the CS flight screens. 7. Simcheck A300-B4, a nice classic Airbus plane with nice flight controls. INS system works nicely also! 8. Airbus X, very high detailed plane, a bit primitive though. No real FMC, a shame. 9. Wilco PIC/Volume 1,2; These are rubbish on windows 7 64-bit, not supported at all, many graphics issues and such. Also low FPS! Although they are supported by FSX, not for win7. 10. Many more addons..........................like the Super 80 Pro, QW BAE146, PMDG JS4100, and many more. These I have to master yet. This was my list of what I like to fly. I like to fly the big birds I have to admit it I have also tweaked my Laptop to play it. Took me a few days. Anyhow, I cannot wait to add the 777 to the collection!! As it will certainly become my number ONE!!!!!!   (not swearing, just showing my affection) I9 12900K @ 5.1ghz P-cores/ 4.0 ghz E-cores fixed HT off / Corsair iCue H150i Capellix Cooler/ MSI Z690 CARBON WiFi / 32GB Corsair DDR5 RAM @ 5200 mhz XMP on / 12GB MSI 4090 RTX Ventus 3 / 7,5 total TB SSD (2+2+2+1+0,5 all NVMe)/ PSU 850W Corsair / 27" (1080P)
September 23, 201213 yr Could be my rig is not configured properly, but I still feel that for all it's praise, the PMDG 737 NGX exterior textures are sometimes very good but often seem just not that clear and realistic IMO. Too bad we couldn't merge the CS exterior with the rest of the PMDG.
September 24, 201213 yr PMDG, We haven't heard anything in a while. However, I do believe, as others have stated, that you guys are in deep in development right now. Perhaps that's why there haven't been any updates recently.

I screwed up and bought the CS 777 some time back, no patience got the best of me. We'll see once it's completed... As an example, CS's 737 old classic looks better than PMDG's 737NG (that engine animation - ugh!). Maybe PMDG can pull it off now with the T7 because right now, hell no. Maybe PMDG can pull it off now with the T7 because right now, hell no. Haha yeah I tried flying that "other company's" 777 with the full cockpit (it's been out for years, take a guess at the company) and the model is hideous. It barely even looks like a 777 and the panels are just as bad.
September 24, 201213 yr So much for the preview"s" I have a feeling we'll have a huge update in the future about the breakthrough RSR talked about in Munich. David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.
September 25, 201213 yr Wow nearly three months and practically nothing on any products. Whatever they have planned they should really let us know instead of us running around like headless chickens! The 777 probably is finished, likely just tweaking and testing. If not then can't see it this year. Unless they've not done 'Beta' this time and just tested it more in depth as they've gone along? Yep, patience is running out for an update, better run out these forums LOL. - Luke Pabari
