September 28, 201213 yr I personally believe the silence is a good thing. for me it means that thay're probably hard at work developing the project. Silence in the PMDG forum is not a bad thing folks, at least not in my opinion We all know it will be worth it in the end Kind regards Jan H Dahl
September 28, 201213 yr Someone fly a 777-200LR over PMDG's base saying , "if we upset you, we are sorry!" haha :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: Thomas Wills Thomas Wills
September 30, 201213 yr The silence people wouldn't mind(pmdg obviously think they are apple now - say nothing create more hype) but the topic title says let the previews begin, the post then goes onto to say about previewing us some videos of new tech they discovered. So think that's why so many posts asking what going on....Rob shouldn't have really posted this post at all, if they just wanted to adopt a shut down communications post, or at least followed it up with a post stating that there be no further updates until release. That way everyone would still be waiting excitedly but at least wouldn't be thinking that by nature of the post 'let the previews begin", mean that there likely to be a follow up within days. While I totally support the idea to not give false hopes with unachievable release dates, that posting stuff that isn't finished just results in a thousand and one questions about the colour, size missing button etc, which benefits nobody. You do need to really adopt one method or the other, either say nothing and state that fact, or follow up on your preview post as you suggest you will. As being neither generally just winds people up and not in a positive way. PMDG make some great aircraft, but I'm afraid their communication style still needs some major work. Various forums not just on the 777 but also other products seem neglected of late also. Of course perhaps the news is bad...and nobody likes giving bad news! On another note looks like we might have our time filled shortly anyhow learning how to fly air busses, info on that forum sounds like a release this month. Regards James Carr
September 30, 201213 yr 65 Days...no update! :search: I bet 80! With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
September 30, 201213 yr Hello All, I think these Posts are totally unfair. The PMDG Team have worked their socks off over a long period of time to provide us with an aircraft second to none in the 737ngx and now onto the 777 etc., These people are only human after all with families and just like us they like to go on holiday (Vacation) and the interruption caused by so doing prolongs the development. So dont be selfish think of others. Richard Welsh. Richard Welsh

So dont be selfish think of others. Richard Welsh. Think about the title of the post though. You'd assume after two months at most they would give us an update. To me it's not Begging for more screenshots anymore. It's been a while, so now I'm just wondering whats keeping them from writing a brief 1-2 sentence notice to this thread about the delay. Even if they were THAT busy, you can't tell me its impossible. Unless the delay was intentional, which at this point seem most likely. If that's the case, then we are in for a surprise soon. What if the Topic title was a mistake? Maybe he meant to say "Preview" instead of "Previews" David Zambrano, CFII, CPL, IGI I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.
September 30, 201213 yr Yeah, when I furst saw this preview I though they will be more previews coming in a very short period of time, but I was wrong LOL... With kind regards, Bogdan Misko.
October 1, 201213 yr Well for me it doesnt realy matter if theres an update or not i will be happy when i hear anything at all. But as many others have posted that the team realy must be VERY busy not even coming in and answer any questions so my thoughts is that when any news is coming its gona be very sweet news atleast thats what i hope. Kind regards Mattias Nordgren PRO-ATCX BETA TEAM
October 1, 201213 yr Im normally very patient with waiting be to be perfectly honest this update is way old and Im actually loosing some of my cool, does anybody here know anything new or when the next update comes out? Joe Barton
October 1, 201213 yr Im normally very patient with waiting be to be perfectly honest this update is way old and Im actually loosing some of my cool, does anybody here know anything new or when the next update comes out? We don't know anything more than you do. All we can do is wait patiently. And I know from experience that it's getting more difficult. Lukas "TIN TIN -=9th Shrek=-" Mathijsen
October 1, 201213 yr Now that I think of it, it will make new previews sweeter I am sure PMDG are working flat out and I think there is a surprise in store Marc M.
October 1, 201213 yr Similar situations occurred several times during development of the NGX. As we all should have learned by now: if there is nothing new that PMDG are ready to show, we don't get updates. It's that simple. Christoph Kühne
October 1, 201213 yr Similar situations occurred several times during development of the NGX. As we all should have learned by now: if there is nothing new that PMDG are ready to show, we don't get updates. It's that simple. You can say that, but for some people (me) this is their first development I've ever followed so apart from looking at the old posts prior to release I have no clue. - Luke Pabari
