In the image you can see a display and a few controls to the aft right of the flight deck. I've never seen this before, what is it for? I can see what looks like a track pad too maybe?

And of course, the all-important question - will it be modelled on the PMDG 777?! :P

You should see the JAL pilots that I run into on a daily basis, the FO always looks to be no older than 25 or so. What is interesting that there are two Captains instead of two FO's for their ORD-NRT flight.

The maintenance console does not relate to the flying of the plane in any way. Even if there is malfunction the pilots have no procedure to use it during the flight.

So I highly doubt PMDG will waste time to simulate this. It's of almost same level of importance as, let's say the coffee makers in the galleys. ;)

My friend got in with EK on the 777's at 23!

 

They only require 2,500 Jet/Multi-Engine/Multi-Crew hours! Not bad at all.
