Program in Flight? Why would I need to learn to program?

I was more interested in the bug mentioned itself.

That doesn't help much for the take-off roll, where the RPM problem really hurts. My method is to simply set brakes, push the prop control all the way, advance throttle to full, reduce RPM to 2500, release brakes.

I thought he might have been talking about where reducing the rpm caused the plane to pitch up and increase speed, going by the climb out checklist does not help that situation either.

I normally take off full throttle and full rpm, and work those rudder pedals ( and ailerons if a crosswind takeoff) I will have to try your method and see how it does.

I gave this a try yesterday, and it definitely helped some - thanks for the tip, I would not have thought of this.
