07AUG12: PMDG 777 Manuals Available! (Start studying!)

Featured Replies

If PMDG really is based off Nevada, then it makes perfect sense for the package to go to China and then to Austria. After all, USPS "piggy-backs" on airlines.

Yep they do not have their own aircraft so they have to pay another airline to ship their air mail.

I have the good fortune of being close to a US border crossing. For some shipping I have used a service like CBI in Niagara Falls NY. Saves alot of duties. Yes, I tell customs I went for a package....so far I haven't been taxed yet. Thought this might be of some assistance to my fellow Canadians!

Chris,

the nearest US border is not that far here from Whitehorse but no way ill try to go to Skagway in those weather events we had ...... but thanks for the head up.

you know that Canadian customs has increased the amount of good you can bring back.

all the best.

Some info on manuals please.

I brought the full set for the NGX, and looking at getting something for the 777, however yet to determine what. I know I'll want at minimum the QRH in paper form, as I use this with the NGX.

Has anyone brought the colour QRH? Could you post a couple of pictures of how it looks in colour compared to the black and white I have now for the NGX.

Are there any issues with print quality in the fcoms/fctm especially where diagrams are printed etc as the NGX had some issues.

Anyone ordered for uk delivery? And did you get customs charged? As I did with NGX set.

Regards

I'd like to see a picture as well but it would be nice to get the PDF's now as well.

Question to PMDG.

In the 737 NGX PDF manuals, in the table of content, one cannot click on an item and jump to the correct page. So for example, looking for page NP.10.42 requires a lot of scrolling and searching. I know this is feasible since I have seen many PDF documents that offer this feature. Will the 777 manuals be built that way?

Use find function. But yes, I would like that linking functionality as well.
