Yoke won't work on the ground

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've installed the latest version of FSUIPC in order to run Radar Contact. This now works fine.

I have a Saitek pro flight yoke which worked ok until FSUIPC was installed. Now, although the yoke is set to be controlled via F3D, not FSUIPC, the yoke will not work when the plane is on the ground, making taxiing impossible.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Ideally a way of making FSUIPC ignore my controller and just doing what it does re RC4

Thanks,

Paul

BTW it works fine in the air, but can only take off using speed alone!

Hi,

I have a PFC yoke and a VRAC Throttle Quad so my suggestion may be of no help to you. My configuration is exactly opposite of what you have setup. I turned all my buttons, rocker switches and axsis off inside P3D and I allow FSUIPC to control these items without any problems.

If your yoke doesn't work on the ground, how do you get airborne? What are you using your yoke on the "ground" for? As Mike stated, I shutoff the in game controller and use FSUIPC to controll all my inputs and it works great. Doesn't really sound like anything to do with FSUIPC but an in game setting. What do you mean "Use FSUIPC to run Radar Contact"?. Are you running on a network and using WideClient?

Hi,

Also, if you do not have rudder peddles and are steering from the yoke, you "MUST" have "FLIGHT CONTROLS / AutoRudder" checked.

Yes, that's what it was. Thanks Mike. Will take the time to configure FSUIPC to run controllers soon.
