Prepar3d 1.4 Feedback and comments

Recommended Posts

For default FSX aircraft I just copied over but remember you may need to copy over sound, gauge and FX files as well.  I always make a copy of every folder in it's "default" virgin state before I make any changes or additions.  That way I always have a baseline reference point or can easily throw back in the default files if something goes astray.

For payware you will probably need to re-install.  In fact, I would recommend that.  Takes a few minutes but so would having to figure out which files to move an not.  Let the installer do the work.

With saved flights, it was a bit more tricky for me.  I created custom categories so I really can't help there other than to say saved flights (and I believe my saved flightplans), do work just like FSX.

Hope that helps
