New rebuild Install Question

Going to do a upgrade and new install this week. I always place my FSX on a seperate drive but was wondering if there are any additional FSX related software that should also be placed on that drive for better performance. I run flight planning and weather on networked computer.

I have ALL my FSX related programs and FSX on a seperate drive,by me is it F:\.

No more trouble with the Windows 7 problems like "Administrator" or other safety tings.

I have FSX on a seperate SSD and to save space I only put FSX on it and addons that get installed into the FSX folder automatically (planes, scenery). All other addons (REX, ASE, FSWC, etc.) are on a regular harddisk (but NOT C: and certainly NOT in the official Programs Folder!): there is no need for them to be on the FSX drive because they aren't accessed directly by FSX of they might even hinder performance (though probably not). But whatever you do, don't install anything in the official Programs folder on C:.

Thanks...sounds like I have been doing it the correct way. Just never thought to ask the question before.
