What size SSD are you using and What exactly do you have on the SSD?

Featured Replies

I got a Samsung 128 for OS and same make but 256 for FSX. Samsung is doing a £20.00 cashback deal in Europe region atm. Don't know about US. Got a bargain at £118 from local computer warehouse last week. :P

Ray, looking at your SSD benchmark, Dazz is spot on about the alignment. Take a look at this site (How to: Check partition alignment of your drive(s), you won't go wrong if you follow the guidance.

A lot of the reviewers like the Sandisk Extreme 240GB. It is the lowest price I have seen today and rated the highest in many reviews. $154.00 at Newegg with free s/h. Looks like all the prices are coming down.

Toms Hardware SSD Hierarchy Chart has it in Tier 1 with The Samsung 830 256GB and the Plexor M3 Pro.

Anything negative about the lowest priced one?

Yep, good times. I just saw the SanDisk 240GB for $149 delivered. Come on down!
