Tooling around the Juan De Fuca Strait

Recommended Posts

Been flying this region a lot from KCLM. I got to see this region in person a few years ago on a cruise, and it was one of the more beautiful places ive been. Again im flying the excellent Bellanca Scout, and im running FSX in dx10 mode with all sliders maxed, and the fps counter locked at 30 fps, and it was PEGGED at 30 fps the whole flight (around 90 minutes in the air). That DX10 shader fix does wonders.

Taking off from KLCM

Still gaining altitude, and looking off to the south, a canyon with a bridge going over it

the view from the cockpit

overflying Sekiu (11S) and Clallam Bay

Thats the Canadian side of the strait off in the distance...cloud bottoms were are 3000' or so and it was vis kept going from decent to bad...fog

I wanted you to see this shot...notice the fps meter.. :good: :good: :good:

Having turned back to the east, and i decide to go to the Canadian side of the strait, and im now overflying Victoria, British Columbia

Overflying Friday Harbor, subject of another one of my posts here

On final...heading in to Bellingham, WA...for a well deserved $100 hamburger.

There were a couple more shots, mainly of me on the ground in Bellingham and some Alaskan 737's that were there. I didnt know Alaskan flew into there.

Hope you liked this trip...i sure did!
