P3D Cfg. to tweak, where and what is it called?

Got P3D up and running, now wanting to tweak CFG. there is a lot of config files. IE: airline cfg, display cfg. scenery cfg. suneffects cfg. terrain cfg. etc etc. Cannot find the right one containing bufferpools etc. What is the name of the cfg for the bufferpool tweaks? Thank you in advance!

Nice to see another person onboard.. One of P3Ds greatest attributes.. Well actually it's more a side effect of all its great attributes.. The endless need to tweak has been pretty much eliminated.. Dial in some initial settings that run good and just go flying. Once you gain trust in P3D it'll eventually hit you one day.

Not being a P3D user (I tested it for a couple of days last week) I can nonetheless recommend it to any serious FSX user. A lot smoother, default landclass and autogen (and probably even mesh) much more convincing than default FSX stuff, better UI with more interesting otions where they matter...

Thanks guys! For $50.00 and have such a performance increase verses the $$$$, time and sweat over the past few years, what is not to like? It is like getting a computer upgrade without buying anything expensive. Just got tired of studders as flying helicopters, got tired of lack of smoothness when the eye candy was cranked. Playing the slider game with different scenery using FSX wore me out. It's like going from a 20hz monitor to 120hz unit, without changing monitors. Really looking forwards in getting the most out of P3D. My advise to anyone thinking P3D, give it an honest shot, take the time to do a few quality CFG and inspector tweeks, and watch the adventure unfold.

All I can do is agree with everone here.

 

P3D is like a breath of fresh air to my simming, take a bit of time re-installing add-ons but totally worth it. No more FSX :lol:

I'm also taking a plunge, hopefully permanently. I bought P3D when academic came out, but didn't bother to make the change at that time. Now that I have REXe Migrator tool and ORBX is getting their stuff migrated there is no reason to stay with FSX. I'm so tired of getting OOMs and crashes especially when alt-entering to window mode in heavy scenery with the old boy. I hope P3D proves more stable, but at least my hopes are up.
