How strong is your password?

Recommended Posts

Hmm, you want me to type my password into a random website that could log my ip?

I´m sorry but if your password is not good, then is going to be less safe by giving it out left or right.

Just my opinion.

Exactly my opinion too.

Anyway, if you want to know, my password always gets the strongest rating.

Firstly, you asked "how strong is your password". Plus there's no reason to type in a fake password.

Secondly, why this? Any site I register to tells me that my password is very strong. I didn't use the site you posted.

I titled the post that way.

Obviously ,you would type in a sample (not your own) password, and gauge the strength rating!

This might come as a surprise, but most "user" passwords are very weak, and can be easily hacked by thieves!

So, what is the point then, to found out a password I don't use is strong or week?

I don't want you burned or any other way, just think we need to stick to some integrity, but I can agree that some people have week passwords.

And a tip for a forum like this is not to use anything aviation or simulation related in your password, or even words or a sentence, just random letters and numbers is the best.

You titled your post "How strong is your password?"

The implication is obvious and,as other's have said, foolish.

During a password audit, it was discovered one of the employees had the following password:

MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofyParis

When asked why such a long password she replied:

"I was told it had to be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one capital!"
