What if our alien pals try to contact us via TELEPATHY (assuming telepathy is instantaneous), thereby breaking the light-speed barrier?

A few years ago i bought a Bearcat scanner mainly to listen to Schiphol (EHAM) ATC, Amsterdam Radar, and such, i live underneath the ILS approach path for Rwy 18C (used to be 19R ) about 10 miles out.

 

One night, around 02.00 hours, i heared this call from an airliner crew which went something like " there's a bright light beneath us that seems to be following us, do you have any other traffic in the vicinity, a helicopter perhaps ? " ATC answered negative on other traffic but adviced the crew that there's lots of water beneath them, could it be the image of the moon mirrored in the water that seemed to follow them ? The crew answered back that they were aware of the water and the phenomenon of the moon image mirrored in the water and that such was not at hand in this case. They assured ATC that it had to be something else.

 

For quite a few minutes a couple more suggestions were exchanged between the crew and ATC which i cannot remember exactly anymore. What i do very much remember and will never forget is that i sat there next to my Bearcat scanner with red ears and probabely a much higher heart pumping rate than normally was the case when listening to ATC ( which can become quite boring after a while... :Yawn: )

 

I have always loved Close Encounters including the ATC sequence from the clip that is posted here but witnessing something like that for real sure is something else !

 

Finally, at one moment, it happend what i was waiting for ( i had already seen Close Encounters a couple times of course )

 

ATC : " callsign ( sadly i can't remember the callsign anymore..) , do you wish to officially report a UFO ? " Whereupon the crew answered back with " Yes, we do want to officially report a UFO ".

 

And there it ended.... While i kept listening to my scanner on the same channel for more than an hour i heared nothing more about this remarkable event, just the usual stuff again. The next day nothing in the news or papers, never heared or read anything about again...

 

But I heared it and loved every minute of it !! :Shocked: :biggrin:

To be honest, our radio frequencies travel out into space so possible for the nearest habited planets to tune into what we watched 30 to 40 years ago, therefore our alien friends (or foes) maybe watching Neil Armstrong land on the moon live on TV at the moment and thinking 'what took them so long'

 

After that they can watch some Batman with Adam West and really wonder about our inteligence... :LMAO:

Where I come from conditions like these are called "phsychosis" and people that got them go to the mental hospital.

Very philosofical words there. Too some degree I can agree.

Like the cave man If he had seen The Television he would belive it was evil magic and be very afraid of it and call it "supernaturall",

but things has also moved the other way. Like for example when some hundred years ago the Doctors used "Witch Magic" and "Alchemy" was the accepted medicine to threat health issues, but today we use real scientific medicine that has root in reality. Penecillin for example, we got that from plants not by calling too the "gods"

We dont look at the stars too threat patients, some will say that alternative medicin works but It's not generally accepted and I don't believe that magic should work It's way into modern medicine as I would like to be treated by a real doctor.

 

So before I see real scientific proof of these aliens, or conspiracys I would just call it "superstition". Most of the time the occurences has a natural explanation(Sometimes mental Illness). Many UFO sightings are just natural phenonomens.

And I can accept that some people use it for medicinal purposes, and personally I don't care what people use or not, as long as they do not harm others. Kaboki, if you go to the science aisle of any bookstore and pick up a book on physics and quantum mechanics, I think you will get a better idea of what is meant when I say that we are finding nature to be more and more supernatural. Concepts regarding travel in time, being in more than one place at once through physical properties such as entanglement, flow of information backwards through time, the quantum nature of our brains, etc. are just the tip of the iceberg of all that we don't fully understand about nature but realize exist through scientific observation. And perhaps when someone happens to stumble upon some phenomena that may be an expression of say, a spooky entanglement, the only explanation a person could come up with would be the supernatural. The root of religions, magic, ghosts, witch doctors, voodoo etc. may very well be observations of natural phenomena that we are only beginning to understand and placed in the only context that people thousands of years ago could grasp.
