Nice Cloudy C-46 Curtiss Commando Flight

Straight out of NWT ICE PILOTS episode, here is a nice Curtiss C-46 Commando flight from Ekati Airport (IATA: YOA, ICAO: CYOA) is located at the Ekati Diamond Mine, Northwest Territories, Canada to CYZF Yellowknife Airport in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada.

Engines started with roaring sounds and lots of engine start smokes

Starting take off run!!

 

 

Airborne on climb to 10,000 ft fading away into thickness of clouds

 

 

Climbing through clouds

 

 

Best part of flying Curtiss C-46 Commando is that you get to fly at required 10,000 ft giving you gorgeous view of clouds as seen on this example showing combination of views of clouds and spinning propeller out of left cockpit window

 

 

Cruising just above heavy clouds

I am sorry but I do not understand your Lufthansa crane comment??? If you are referring to logo on the tail of Buffalo Airways C-46, that is logo of buffalo animal, not crane.

Loan probably means the logo on the nose beneath the cockpit which does look like Lufthansa.
