You want a VC...?!?

Thanks for the new icing effects!

Thank You for Your work(!). To tell to truth I never see real 737-200 and his cabin, but I not sure about ice color at screen cabin window... Is they really have such color?

It looks ok to me, here's a picture of icing on a passenger airliner window:

220px-AirplaneWindowIce.jpg

Apart from the snowflakes type of build-up towards the middle the rest looks like what Bjoern's made. I'm happy with it. You wouldn't get exactly that type of build up on the front cockpit windows anyway, but that's the only airplane windows icing photo I could find on short notice.

You can always edit the textures and try to improve, feel free to share them if you do.

Well, the actual buildup would probably be from the edges towards the middle, but I had to can that texture as it would have looked weird on the other parts (well, weirder than now, at least).

I might change the specular values for the material a bit in GMax, but it's quite hard to achieve the "dull, yet glossy" look of real ice.

Yes!

Here is RC4; it's an all-in-one release with permission from Bob Scott (TM2 team)

No more complicated installation and the biggest update yet with tons of new stuff.

Remove any older versions you have installed before you install this one!

Make sure to read the readme!

~90MB -> ~224 MB unzipped

And the SDK. All texture source files are now in .psd format instead of .xcf.

Cozy schmozy aka "guess what's new" (the wonky shading is standard).

I'm not happy with the glass texture yet.

New icing textures. Or were they in the last release already? Don't remember, was just impressed when looking at them yesterday.

I can't get the SP77 to work. Just won't turn on. Actually it seems as though it disconnects right after I flip the paddle.

I suppose you've read the manual...?

I've flown this airplane for a while. It used to work before the VC update. I also tried the ISG gauges and the LNAV doesn't work. I put ISG in the aircraft.cfg (in the title=) and I also tried modifying the TM.ini to enable ISG, but it doesn't work like it did in the old 2D version. In fact, when I make any change to the TM.ini, it has no effect.

Has anyone got ISG to work (using the MCP LNAV)?

Well, I've put in a third-party modified FDE that was said to handle better/more realisitcally/whatever than the official one.

I only found out later that it was made from the one of the v1.2 TM2.

This only manifested itself for autopilot problems for ONE user (ONE!) so far, so I just put in the original "[autopilot]" section from 1.4 into the FDE for RC4.

This is a FDE built from 1.4 with my custom, necessary edits regarding [fltsim], [contact_points], [views], [lights], etc...

It's the only thing I can do for you.

As for problems with ISG stuff, I can't help you at all. I've only the included panel/texture stuff and .cfg entries for convienience. Bug fixing is up to the end user.

Slightly bugfixed version of the FDE:

About the autopilot:

If you've got problems engaging the SP77 autopilot master switch, either mash/click the button until it sticks or use the one on the 2D panel.

It's a gauge issue I can not fix.

As usual: No.

(Might be influenced because I don't understand half of what you're trying to say.)
