1 August 2020: RAAS now at V3.3 with P3D V5 Support!

Recommended Posts

I stick to the root of Prepar3D V3.2 then I reinstall RASS Pro and everything is back in order.

Thank you to you for your support and good luck to your team.

Glad you got it sorted    Your Simconnect install was corrupt or something.

Cheers,

Hi, downloaded today both the PMDG B777 and Aerosoft Airbus X locked versions file updaters, to update RAAS pro (to last RAAS version 2.4.0.7, posted today) and I've found two very different file sizes. For the PMDG B777 is about 305 KB (only) in size and for the Aerosoft Airbus X is about 120 MB. Want to confirm prior to updating that the update files are correct???. Could you pls check?.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

That's correct, since the PMDG 777 version only updates a single file.

If you own the 777 and Airbus, I would just install the 777 update since the download is smaller, but it really doesn't make any difference.

The same single file is updated either or.

I sent them them the file.

It's up to them to put it up on their server.  Usually they are quick.

Fellow simmers,

Can anyone verify if the Flightsim Store has version 2.4.0.7 available for download? Order history and product page give no indication of a new release.

TIA

Hi

Sorry if this could be a "dumb" question.

I bought RAAS Pro 2.3.1.7 and I received a warning about RAAS Update to 2.4.0.7

I didn't understand so sorry to ask:

Do I go to my account, then to orders and just download the FS2CrewRAASPro (.zip) and just run it?

That's correct.

Login to your account wherever you bought RAAS.

Download it and install it.

All updates are cumulative and built into the main installer only for the unlocked RAAS Pro version.

I have the RAAS as part of the PMDG777 aircraft and I received a notice that RAAS was out of date, so I downloaded the correct file:

RAAS FOR THE PMDG 777 (LOCKED VERSION - ONLY WORKS WITH THE 'PMDG 777')

Current version : 2.4.0.7

Last Updated: 11 May 2016

IMPORTANT:  Only install this version if:

  1. You OWN the PMDG 777.
  2. You do NOT own RAAS PROFESSIONAL (UNLOCKED).  (If you own RAAS PROFESSIONAL install the update as described above.)

I downloaded the update several times and ran the installer, but FSX Steam continues to say that the program is out of date???

Any help here?

Thanks,

When you ran the RAAS update installer, did the RAAS installer correctly identify the location of your current FSX Steam install?

I'm guessing not.

You many need to manually select the install location if the installer does not auto detect it.

I purchased RAAS Professional as steam dlc. I'm getting a reminder to update RAAS every time I launch FSX SE.  Will steam be getting the update soon?

Steam had the latest version on their server before anyone else.

Are you sure it updated properly?

I believe that updates are automatically installed when you launch the Steam Manager or whatever it's called.

Did you run that?

Did you uncheck any options that would prevent updates from being installed?

I don't see any options set in steam manager that would prevent updates. I've uninstalled and reinstalled RAAS Professional in the Steam Manager and I still a message asking if I want to update RAAS on FSX Start Up.

If I choose yes it just opens a browser and brings me to the fs2crew website.

When you open RAAS via the in-game ADDONS menu, what does the version number say?
