1 August 2020: RAAS now at V3.3 with P3D V5 Support!

Recommended Posts

Thanks in advance for all the help.  I opened the XML.DLL and changed it to true and it still crashes.  I don't think it's RAAS as much as it was the update itself that may have changed some things.  Just as a hypothetical thought, the update updated DirectX and subsequently my FSX crashes.  Not saying that happened but just thinking outside the box.  I can't wrap my head around how this happened or what changed.  I do know for certain the update is the reason my FSX is now crashing.  But as to what the update did to cause it to crash is still a mystery.  I've run diagnostics, I've gone to the event viewer in windows, and absolutely nothing.  I even bought the full pay version of RAAS thinking the unlocked would do something different from the locked version.  And nope.  Still the same effect.

In that case, something else changed on your system.  If RAAS is disabled via the DLL xml, RAAS does not get loaded when FSX loads.

Sometimes anti-virus programs can cause problems.  They can quarantine critical files.

Try turning of your anti-virus and re-installing RAAS.

Maybe that'll restore something, assuming RAAS is the issue.

Hi guys,

Does anyone knows if the RAAS version included in FSPilotShop's FS2Crew - Special Collection Set is the latest at the moment? I'm running low on remaining downloads...

It says "File Last Updated: Tuesday, 22nd September, 2015 @ 06:01am" so I'm pretty sure it's not the latest then... Are they gonna upload it soon?

Thx in advance.

The FSPilot Shop should have the file.  I sent it to them a while back.

Can't they just reset your download limit.

That's what we do.

Cheers,

Yes, you need to run it in P3D V3.

Just drop the MakeRunways exe into the main/root P3D folder and run it.

That's it.

Best,

Hello everyone,
I bought yesterday FS2Crew: RAAS Professional and I have a problem with that nine Prepar3D V3.2 also (2 days) with on and  Windows 8.1OS. RAAS does not appear in the menu P3D I have this in dll.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
  <Descr>Launch</Descr>
  <Filename>dll.xml</Filename>
  <Disabled>False</Disabled>
  <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>
  <Launch.Addon>
        <Name>FSUIPC 4</Name>
        <Disabled>False</Disabled>
        <Path>Modules\FSUIPC4.dll</Path>
    </Launch.Addon>
  <Launch.Addon>
    <Name>RAASPRO</Name>
    <Disabled>False</Disabled>
    <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
    <Path>.\RAASPRO\RAASPRO.dll</Path>
    <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
    <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
  </Launch.Addon>
</SimBase.Document>

And in the logs I have this:

Searching for Flight Simulator's Main Window...
Retrieving Flight Simulator's Path and Version...
It's a supported Flight Simulator...
Retrieving RAAS Pro version...
Reading the INITIALIZATION file...
Checking for updates...
Searching for SIMCONNECT.DLL...

I install by right clicking administrator mode, with and without Anti-virus, I also run MakeRunways 4692, I see what to do.

Thank you for your support.

Hello everyone,

Thank you for your reply, actually as you see after sending the ticket PLUSIEUR error related SimConnect, ultimately I could solve it by uninstalling RASS Pro

I then download and install SimConnect_RTM.msi then I copy that is in simconnect.dll

"C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.FlightSimulator.Simconnect_67c7c14424d61b5b_10.0.60905.0*\SimConnect.dll"

I stick to the root of Prepar3D V3.2 then I reinstall RASS Pro and everything is back in order.

Thank you to you for your support and good luck to your team.

cordially
