SP1 and SP2 downloads for FSX Deluxe

Featured Replies

As a new user/installer to FSX I think that I need to download SP1 and then SP2 for the software package. The link to SP 1 is no longer active and I think it's to do with MS no longer supporting the software from 18 September 2012. There doesn't seem to be a link to SP1 and 2 in the AVsim library though there is a link to SDK SP1 and 2. Is this the same thing? Do I need to download SP1 and 2? Can someone privide a link for the SP's if they are needed? Thanks......

Thanks Bert. Downloading now. Looks like I can still get SP 2 from FSinsider. Are these SP's required and will they enhance performance? Looks like you are from BC. Just spent 7 weeks there from Yeppoon Qld Australia. Love that state but not the tax on everything....still less expensive than Australia though. thanks again

Thanks CMP etc as well - still wondering why I didn't see them in the avsim library???

Yes, your performance will be better, and several add-ons only work with them installed.

After installing each SP, start up FSX, shut it down, and reboot your PC.

Dont know, did you click my link? They are all on that page if you scroll down. I did an extended search using "Microsoft Corporation" in the Author field.
