Well... the ONE feature that I'd love for FS2006

I used to own Flight Unlimited II. One feature that was really cool was the 'FLY BY' feature. Also where you can adjust the time of day, would like to see a button (etc) where you could advance the time forward or backward by 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc.

"I would like to see a completely new interface for fs2006. Which would provide simple and fast manipulations. The Interface didn't change since fs2000, so it's time to go on. I can't picture it, but I want an Interface that is much more immersed into the sim itself. Like changes made don't have to be loaded and show up immediatly in the sim etc., etc."Again, that's down to technology. The things that MS have added so far to the current version of FS, are actually quite basic, compared to what they could add if they had all the power/technology they wanted. They have to choose a balance between the average computer systems people have at home, to what they will be able to add into the next version. Too many things or things at such a high level of detail will cause the program to hardly run.The clouds, sky, landscape textures, refresh rate, could be so damn fast and realistic, they would, as said above, never be have the need to produce another FS (assuming the technology is here now). The developing process of technology is sadly a slow one (look @ FS4 v FS2004), so it won't be around for a while yet, but we will eventually get to the stage where power = our requirement for realistic gaming.Hope you all understand now.http://www.onlinesimulationsolutions.com/sigs/wdosssig.jpg

I meant the user interface. I'd like to see a new UI that just feels good, is fun and easy to work with. A new approach to how we communicate with the sim could provide a whole new, much more emmersed experience.:-kewl regards,:-beerchug Claudio
