Minneapolis St/ Paul International Airport?

Featured Replies

Something that has kept me wondering for some time now... why havn't any developers done KMSP? I know Blueprint has, but I am looking for a way more in delpth scenery. Like FSDREAMTEAM quality?

How many have actually been to KMSP? MSP is one of Delta's buiggest hubs, and was Northwest's buigest hub, and the 5th busiest airport in the world.

It's a huge airport, and offers about 4,000,000 passengers a year. Anyone know of any developers looking to develop this airport?

Just trying to get developers to think about it. It's a major hub to the midwest, and yet barely anybody has done the scenery.

I don't know of one... I'd love to see it done as well... lived a few blocks away the majority of my life.

Try posting on the FSDT forum and ask them there. I know they hold polls once in a while letting people vote on airports. You best bet is to get this airport on the next poll.

And that's where parts of Airport were filmed in 1969.

I was 1 in 1969

I think there is a BluePrint sceneries KMSP, but I am traveling and cannot verify. Maybe it's KIND?

As for being and "old dog" well...that sure does get thrown around a lot lately.

I tried to make a Monty Python reference about a dead bird "pining for the Fjords" at work yesterday and got the "deer in headlights" look from my staff. I know what they were thinking but who wants to call the boss man a geezer?

32 isn't old is it?

I digress...I do wish we could get some more FSDT product. They have raised the bar on all airports forever! Viva FSDT!

I too wish for a nicely detailed KMSP, I work only a couple miles down the road and drive past several times a day. My building is directly in the departure flight path for west bound flights, lots of great plane spotting! Anyway, I bought the aforementioned Blueprint KMSP scenery as it's the only real option out there, haven't checked it out thoroughly yet, just a quick look around at night after installing. Anyone else remember an excellent freeware KMSP back in the FS 2000 days? I remember being blown away by the scale and detail of that add-on, it was basically FSDT/Flightbeam quality for its day.

I have the Blueprint KMSP airport scenery and its not bad. In fact I have lots of BP's airports, I know lots of folks want a lot more detail, but I get great frames with BP's airports and their taxiway signs are for the most part are really accurate.

The only downside of their airports are no moving jetways. I live in Detroit and its Delta's second largest hub. Yes I would love to have some more detail in the terminal buildings but it works so good on my system and thats more important to me. Compared to almost any freeware scenery I will take BluePrint any day. BTW I have nothing to do with the BluePrint developer but I am a big user of their stuff. Just my OP

Yep, another vote for KMSP.

I live in Minnesota and tend to fly out of KMSP in FSX most of the time.

I have the Blueprint KMSP scenery and it's better than the default scenery, although I'd love to see a FSDreamteam or simliar take on it.

How does the BP MSP version compare with Jim Vile's adex update for msp?

I guess I could get the BP version, it's only 15 bucks anyway.

Don't get me wrong, the BP version is "ok". Blueprint has gotten better at their most recent sceneries, but KMSP is one of BP oldest sceneries, and needs to be updated. (Like 2008)

Blueprint just doesn't give that extra mile that others like Flytampa and FSDT do. They don't texture the taxiways, runways, airport signs, lights, night lighting, etc. But nevertheless it atleast provides something
