October 11, 201213 yr Hello I run a 27" Dell 2707WFP with a GTX570 1280mb card I have not noticed any frame rate loss, those days are long behind us. Get the 27" and you do not need a 4GB card at all.
October 11, 201213 yr I have a Yamakasi Catleap q270 which is an IPS panel and the resolution is 2560*1440. Gtx 580 1.5gb and my frames go down to high teens sometimes. My sliders are set to ultra high so theyre not fully right. Flying at night with ultimate terrain, ground environment extreme and rexe 2048 textures. The card is used up to 900mb sometimes and the frames do get killed when theres wx and specially at night. Research the yamakasi. Its a very nice monitor. Good luck Alejandro. i7 4790K 4.8GHz, 16GB DDR3 1866MHz, EVGA RTX 2080 XC. 1TB M.2 SSD, 4TB HDD, 4K display. October 11, 201213 yr thanks, afraid to go ISPS 27" for the loss in frames....... As long as you have a GTX660Ti and above, the FPS loss isn't very much.
