As explained in the 3.30 docs and release notes, more weather features are now fully available for external app control. If the app does not control the feature than it is user settable.So if the weather app has options for the various settings, it will dominate on activation. If not, then the user settings will have effect for those left out. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

Does the new effect only work with add-on weather generator or does it work with fs9 weather also? I always use the static download of weather.-Mikkel

Mikkel,It works in ALL weather programs, including FS Real Weather. It is just a jewel of program.Bob

I don't know if you've seen it, but I made post about what settings I should use in the Winds and Visibility tabs for the most realistic weather. Perhaps you could give me some pointers?Regards-Mikkel
