Yes I do have all fsx traffic sliders off at the moment , my system is I7 3770 Ivybridge o/c professionally to 4.5 ghz , 16 gig 1866 RAM , 240 gig ocz vertex v3 ssd for op & a few other games , 600 gig velociraptor solely for fsx , down point is gpu, its msi 6970 twin frozr , good card but not for fsx.

Sounds should be OK to me. Do you still get these stutters with the sliders left? I would imagine the card is more than sufficient for FSX - I have 560Ti running 2 monitors and with a load of stuff going fsx and related , I can''t get the card to more than 60 GPU load. . FSX being CPU bound, you can't do much better than yours either. Otherwise of course, any tweaks to fsx.cfg or graphics . . . I know Nvidia supposed to be better for FSX bu I know plenty guys using AMD no problems

Just realised you said no AI? No FS9 traffic .bgls? Would kill all traffic. try AIFP to check?
