Aircraft for Air Cadets to fly (RAF)

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

So I'm building an FS for our cadet unit for our cadets to fly (When they can get the staff out of it lol) and I've been looking for good quality aircraft for our cadets to fly that relate directly to being an R.A.F Air Cadet today...

So, aircraft I'm on the hunt for are:

  • Grob Tutor 115 (A good quality finished model)
  • Tornado GR4 or as close as.
  • Eurofighter typoon.
  • Grob Viking glider.

So far, the few eurofighter models I saw on Amazon have some really bad reviews...

I've only ever found 1 version of the Grob Tutor 115, which isnt fantastic, nor finished I think, but its flyable, and stable, but cant find any Grob Viking at all.

So I'd really like to find 4 good quality makes of these models if possible..

Hope you guys can throw down your expertise and point me in the right directions here?

Regarding the Eurofighter, you probably read the reviews of the AFS Design one, which is indeed not good IMHO. But Just Flight is working on one, which doesn't seem to look all that bad. I guess it's not going to be a detailed simulation as you can expect from the Milviz F15 or the VRS Hornet, but I'm sure it'll be way better than the AFS one.

Viratvia offers a Tornado F.3, which is the closest I have found. I can't comment on it, since I don't have it, but judging from the screenshots at simmarket, it doesn't look bad. It may be a bit pricey, though.
