GEX update

Recommended Posts

Now I know its not offically ok, but I do know some forum members have maybe used the migration tool and successfully installed GEX.

If you are now tempted to upgrade GEX to the new version and interface - 2.30 - you may find it cannot be installed at all. Unless someone knows another work-around?

Just a word of warning...

Cheers

Chris

Hello I have seen comments on other boards stating ,that the poster had updated GEX and It no longer works with p3d ,seems like the friendly folk are nobbling its use with p3d ,don't have any proof just my humble opinion maybe entirely wrong ,but to me just a stupid customer they are very small minded people in my opinion, and having now spent my last penny with them I can do without such people, but sadly for them they cant do without customers like me and you

Yes I know. That was my point. Try the new 2.3 upgrade and tell me it still works.

Hello I posted because I read ( cannot remember what forums )this person posted that the after updating GEX to the new versions they had problems ,it did not work ,I had also read and also found out for myself, that flight 1 mustang does not work correctly when updated to latest ver 1.7 ,this happened to me after I updated to ver 1.7 ,I had ver 1.3 mustang working ok ,updated to ver 1.7 know VC does not shows just the 2d cockpit ,I have also found that the vers 1.3 of the mustang I have on my hard drive seems to end as vers 1.7 when installed into Fsx or P3D ,trying to figure out if its me or the flight 1 ,I do remember a guy from flight1 called Toad (I believe) getting very threatening verbally to people and demanding that threads be closed ,what a sad man ,I for one wont be updating

I wrote a whole load of words about these obstructive coding changes on here and then I thought I'd cut to the case: -

Absolutely pathetic!

Tbh even if it wasn't possible for GEX to work in P3D I don't like their textures anyhow and will be ditching it as soon as OrbX coverage goes over all of Europe.
