If it's an app that simply plays wave files based on FS events, I can tackle that. I would need to see PMSounds at work, in order to see what it is the app does.

You could actually do it pretty quickly and easily with a Lua plug-in for FSUIPC. It has a sound library (and can even place sounds in a stereo or quad sound stage, more than pmSounds can do). All you need is a registered install of FSUIPC and a copy of the FSUIPC offsets list from the FSUIPC SDK. Oh, you need the WAV files too, but you could re-use existing FS ones or record your own of course.

I just checked my PM account and it has PMSounds available to me and I never bought it, just bought the GAIFR Suite a few years back. Not sure if it was free then, but just downloaded and tested it out and it's working doesnt appear to be some kind of demo.

I think they change to pay for it in nov/dec.
