July 17, 200421 yr Hi everybody!A question to those who have bought it: How are the flight-dynamics? Ariane introduced a new technique here (something with Newton), but is it worth it? I only know the PMDG so far...Thanks for any comments (please only on the FDE, not about the systems or anything else ;) ,Stefan
July 19, 200421 yr I've handflown the 737-900 a few times and think it's pretty good. Certainly it's better than any of the earlier Ariane 737's. However the aircraft textures aren't appealing (maybe to get the frame rates right). I don't have the PMDG 737, so I can't compare it with that.
July 19, 200421 yr One of the best FDEs out there, in my opinion. Hand flying is a pleasure with this bird!Andreas Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
July 19, 200421 yr handflow works perfect. I agree, the textures are not as nice as the Alaska 737-400 used to be. The model is excellent. The sound is sweet. The overhead panel textures need to be updated a bit. They are mostly unreadable. Ariane is working on a patch.CheersMartin X-Plane 11.3x / DCS 2.5.4 / P3Dv4.5 / Aerofly FS 2 Win10-x64 | ASUS Z270E | Intel i7-7700K @4.5GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift CV1
July 19, 200421 yr wow, I've read prolly 1000 posts about the ariane 737 and there is a couple of positives in this one. Keep this up and we might get to 2 in every 1000 is good...billg
July 19, 200421 yr Hi guys!First, off course, thanks for the good replies. So the ariane is a plane with quite good F.dynamics.One thing:On my first posting I wrote"Thanks for any comments (please only on the FDE, not about the systems or anything else"This is because I don't want to start a discussion about the textures, for example ;-) Nevertheless, thanks a lot for your replies :-)Stefan
