The Iberian Regional Flights by us_Jorge

Recommended Posts

Dear flight simulator fans. I am back and now I am proud to present: The Iberian Regional Flights. Let me introduce you to my new space in the forum. First of all, I apologize for my bad english. The goal is for you to know the wonderful world of commercial aviation in Spain in special to north american colleagues. For those not familiar with my country: Spain I want to introduce the airports, sceneries and airlines operating n Spain. There are awesome addons of spanish airports as well as photorreal textures. Since I am unemployed (which is very common nowadays in this country, being a chemical engineer!!) I have enough time to fly. The Iberian Regional Flights will be intended to be a collection of some real flights (perhaps 10% won´t be real) of regular airlines that are operating right now in Spain (spanish airlines and others). I intend to fly over spanish territory and airports but some of the flights will be between Spain and Portugal or Italy. The flights will be scheduled acording to AI flight plans (from avsim or flightsim) and I intend to fly at real cruise altitudes withthe different type of planes which fly over spanish skies. Please note that I have Fs2004 and the graphics could suck so be sympathetic for this reason. Then... The title and presentation:

This is one of the exceptions of my new space, an international and typical flight in Spain, the connection with Rome Ciampino with low cost airline Ryanair which is very famous in Europe for its low fares and low fuel politics as well. Ryanair is very important in my new space because is one of the airline with more flights in Spain. They have a lot of parkings in the T1 of Madrid Barajas next to EasyJet. The flight:

Ready to taxi in Santander (LEXJ): The airport of Simwings Santander is a little old. Santander is bigger and now it has gates and more taxiways. I have been there (real flight) the last year in a flight between Madrid and Santander with Ryanair. A new scenery of Akesoft (they have freeware awesome airports of Spain) will be released but it will take long to be published. *Note the Air Nostrum crj taking off

landing in Rome Ciampino: Very good airport with the city. Ciampino is a secondary airport in Rome. Ryanair uses to fly to secundary airports because is cheaper than the main ones.

The second flight is indeed a regional flight:

Barcelona (LEBL) - Vigo (LEVX)

Airbus a320 Vueling Project Airbus

Aerosoft MegaAirport Barcelona, Vigo LEVX Freeware

Cruise Altitude: 37000 ft (FL370)

Distance: ~500 nm (~ 1 hour of flight)

Vueling is a Low Cost Airline of Spain. They have two type of planes: Airbus A319 and Airbus A320. Airbus is a common bird in spanish skies. Enjoy it!

Thank you very much for your reply James.

A flight that I did months ago. I don´t remember the flight altitude and cruising speed but I suppose that was over 35000 feet. The screens are without modifications since I am tired and I don´t want to add brightness or simply tunning to the pictures. Another international flight of Ryanair to Spain:

Palermo (LICJ) - Sevilla (LEZL)

Descending over Andalucia

Landing in Sevilla: Ok, as usual it´s not a perfect airport and Simwings could be obsolete. I think Akesoft are working in a better scenery of Sevilla Airport but Simwings is ok, by far better than Santander of Simwings which in my opinion is poor.

Taxing to the gate in Sevilla:

but stupid atc didn´t want to give me a gate:

I hope you like it. I accept opinions and sugerencies of future flights (if it´s possible to get the scenarios and planes).

This flight is dedicated to all people from Sweden and SAS lovers. It´s not a national flight but is a revival of my past holidays in 2011 in Sweden. When I see this plane and I flew on it for the first (and last) time I fell in love with one of my favourites liveries of a Boeing 737-700WL. The aisles and seatings are more narrow when you get in the plane that you can imagine but is comfortable. This time I used AES as I flew between big airport.

Your thread will probably get locked since you continue to break the posting rules, which is that you aren't allowed to keep posting additional pictures once you have done the original post. You're supposed to start a new post for additional photos.

Nice pics though.
