Which one would you recommend based on the below?

Good on FPS

Real Flight Schedules

Nice Plane Models

I currently have UT2 but I don't really like it. It takes to long to put planes on the airport and everything i reload something all the plane are removed and added back again.....Does UT2 hurt y9our FPS?

Thanks!

You should put "Both" as an option. I use both and have the best of what the two have to offer. However, polls like this generally cause a rush on popcorn. Just off to the supermarket, be right back

I voted for MyTraffic, because that's what I use, because it affects FPS less than UT2 on my machine. The problem here is, that it very much depends on your system, which one works better, I've read of people with similar specs who state that UT2 runs better on their system.

Also note that there are lots of people who say that MTX has ugly models (which may in fact be true) but it also offers a greater variety of models and airlines than most other traffic add-ons, and it also has military traffic, which UT2 doesn't, as far as I remember. I myself never considered the look of the aircraft a major issue, since I mostly want realistically crowded terminals, and I don't want to be "alone" in the sky, since I usually fly offline. Once airboren, you won't really recognise the difference between the models since you should be far enough away from other aircraft, and you're probably also too fast to say "Wow, that's an ugly model", except if it's an A380 .

Another pro for UT2 might be the way it injects the traffic in order not to affect loading times too much, whereas Mytraffic loads its airplanes like default AI planes, whcih can increase loading times in areas with heavy traffic significantly.

So it also depends on where you want to fly: If you are mostly stuck to the US you might as ell go for UT2, but if you fly to remote area, like for example Siberia, MTX might be what you want, as it adds typical Soviet/Russian aircraft, such as AN-2s or some Tupolev regional airliners, and also airlines, that are unknown, becaues thy're alimited to this particular region.

Flo

I voted "other" since I quite like WoAI, although it does have some bugs and the aircraft model quality is pretty poor.

Wasn't there already a poll on this last week in this forum....?

Yes, but the "Which AI program is the best" is a once a week topic, lol. It will probably be asked 2 or 3 more times this month since its still early.

I still maintain the best answer is none, they're all different and is up to personal preference. The better poll/question might be which one is the most popular?

I don't remember a recent poll on that topic, but traffic addon related questions seem to pop up much more often in the past two months or so, and they're always the same: "Which one is the best?"

IMHO that shows that people are too lazy to go back a few pages on the forums or to use the forum search.

Well I add my two cents... I own all of them and also tried WOAI. To be very honest, I wish they would all get together and have a new born. ;)

Most recently I have started using Traffic 360. Not bad, but still testing and tinkering around with it.

UT2 great models but lacking traffic. I like the fact it attempts to use real world routes. Lacking cargo.

MyTraffic it alright.

WOAI enjoyed the ability to pick and choose who's getting loaded up.

That's my quick two cents. So now let's talk on how we could get them all to mate and have offspring.
