Navlog ctd

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I need some help please with this out of the blue ctd.

Im creating a flightplan with V-route and exporting it into fsx.

I fire up fsx, load the flightplan and jump into the NGX with rcv4, AS2012, and when i shift+f10 and press navlog i get the famous "fatal error" message and fsx restarts.

This is very annoying as it has just started to happen and i cant see the plan to prog the fmc.

I uninstalled a few summer airports this morning, heraklion x, bari x, ibiza, ive updated fsuipc, updated netframework but still get this ctd.

Im running win7 64 fully updated, i have fsx on its own ssd. This has only just started to happen.

Any ideas guys? i just want to have a flight :(

Thanks in advance

Chris

Same here, and it's been going on for a long time. The Event Log shows an error in MSVCR80.dll, which may have been "updated" by another program. I haven't found a way to fix it; I just avoid the use of the nav log and go with handwritten flight plans or plans typed into Notepad.

Would be nice to find a fix for this.

Yeah i just noticed that.

I'll have a Google and keep my fingers crossed, but until then i guess i'll have to do what you said and write the flightplan down.

This is so annoying, i've been running FSX for ages with no problems and now we get this stupid ctd.

Thanks for your suggestion Hook.

Well things have gone from bad to worse...

I followed some steps i found on the net about removing the c++ i had installed and reinstalling them and its messed all kinda things up now so looks like a fresh install is in order.

Just what you need on the weekend
