managed approach speed problem in the a330

The a380 will not lock on the ILS. The ils is intercepted but the plane does not follow it :(.I'm not sure what it is that I'm doing wrong

Don't know what you are doing wrong !

Here it work's perfectly !

 

One possible cause could be that the basic FSX GPS mode is on (instead of Nav).

With all the Pss Airbus panel's , if the GPS is on, the plane will briefly intercept ILS

and then turn downright AWAY from it.

 

For that reason i added to all my Pss panel's the basic Fsx Gps/Nav SWITCH,

so that I see clearly that Gps is OFF.

As you use my A340 pss panel definition for the A380, you have it also.

The little SWITCH is on the bottom and in the middle of the 2d panel on

the right side of the TERR ON ND switch.

It MUST be positioned to the LEFT (NAV mode) !
