How many times can I reinstall FSX Deluxe Edition

Featured Replies

A few days ago I switched to Windows 7 from XP and therefore I had to

reinstall FSX.

When I entered the activation key it got rejected.A message said that I

reinstalled FSX to often which surprised me as I was under the impression

I could install it as often as I want.

It is true that I reinstalled it quite often since I had computer problems,

viruses etc which forced me to format and reinstall.

Can anybody tell me what the situation is ?

Thank you

Some versions have problems. I've installed mine ca 100 times with no problems.

According to Microsoft, as often as you want - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927007. You will have to call them though.

My understanding is you could install as often as you want, but only activate it twice (activating meaning hardware has changed "too much" for a simple reinstall). But I know many people have called MS and gotten additional activations.
