PSS/POSKY 777 VC FSX Merge?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the right section for this, but here it goes. Has anybody worked out how to get the 777 working in FSX with a PSS merge? I managed to partially get the merge working (No VC, 2D works from what I can see). I only ask because I am a VC person..If nobody knows or it hasn't happened yet, then I suppose it's off to Captain Sim..I can't stand too much longer without a 777, or I'll go insane. Thanks!

The PSS 777 Autopilot isn't even working properly in FSX. Why would you even want to merge it?

Handle,

The PSS 777 autothrottle does not work in FSX. The plane also porpoises a lot. The latter problem can probably be fixed by tinkering with the Aircraft.cfg file, but without a working autothrottle ... what's the point? Merging it with the Opensky is not really the issue -- it's getting the PSS to work in FSX.

The JB777 panel is great for freeware and works well with the Opensky 777s. It uses FSX flight plans, but if you use software such as FS Commander, you can take a RW plan with SIDs and STARs and turn it into an FS flightplan. Then you can load it in the JB panel's FMC.

I have the Captain Sim 777, also because I am eager for a T7 for FSX, but it is not finished yet and still has a way to go before it is fully flyable (& reliable). I am waiting for the PMDG T7 to come out -- should be an excellent aircraft if it lives up to their reputation.

Mike
