1) A2A Cub. Absolute blast to fly over superb scenery. Just wish A2A could make more GA aircraft and less warbirds...

2) RealAir Turbine Duke. A bit sterile graphics wise and hard on frames, but a superb turbine craft. Now if they could only make a King Air as well, because that's what I really want to fly.

3) Default FSX Beaver. One of the nicest stock FSX aircraft.

And a superb freebie: Ant's Tiger Moth!

1. Golden Age Simulation's Lockheed Model 12 Electra 'Junior' (and the C-40)

2. JF's DC-3

:)

1. PMDG NGX Fly this one 80% of the time

2. PMDG 744 when I have a lot of spare time to fly long hauls

3. CS 757 I like the power of the seven-five :)

PMDG 737 NGX with 737-600/700 expansion- Fantastic for me as I am more of a short haul flyer.

RealAir Dukes- Very fun to use with my ORBX AU small airports and to generally fly around for no particular reason

PMDG 747 with 747-8i/F expansion- Fantastic aircraft for me, I've always loved the 747s.

LDS 767- A bigger, more versatile aircraft

Flight1 BN2- Short field capabilities, perfect for exploring, it works great with my Tahiti X.

RealAir Lancair- Great little aircraft that's always fun to fly.

PMDG MD-11 - This one crashes my FSX pretty often, but other than that it's a fantastic aircraft.

FSLabs Concorde- I still need to learn how to program a route in this :P

Carenado Baron 58- Good little twin, I use it for flying around GA airports in my area (Brisbane)

Carenado C337 - I love this one, it's really something else.

Carenado 185F - Probably my favourite taildragger.

Aerosoft Catalina-Same reasons as the Flight1 BN2

PMDG J41- Fantastic turboprop. I love it.

I just had to list all of these

Thanks,

Kevin L

Top 3... all of which I fly as much as the other...

1) RealAir Legacy

2) PMDG NGX (this says a lot considering I'm mainly a GA pilot!)

3) P180 Freeware (yes it really is great especially with RXP 530)

Close to those are the RA Duke Turbine, Flight1 Mustang, Flight1 T182, Baytower RV7 and Lotus L39 are next...

My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL |
| Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Well, this is starting to sound redundant, but...

RealAir Turbine Duke

RealAir Lancair Legacy

Flight 1 Mustang

Ok, that's 4...so sue me! :)

3? How about 10?

1. PMDG NGX (I call this the best FS addon ever made, in any category)

2. A2A P-51 Civilian w/Accusim (Absolutely epic, going around the world in her right now)

3. Qualitywings BAE-146/Avro RJ (Totally shocked by the quality of this plane. Awesome subject material as well...)

Then in any order...

A2A Piper Cub w/Accusim (The best bush plane for FS. A bit slow though)

A2A P-47 w/Accusim (Oldie but goodie. Hope she gets updated someday.)

A2A Supermarine Spitfire w/Accusim (Spitfire, nuff said. Hope the Mk V becomes a reality some day)

Lotussim L-39 Albatros (Don't think this one will ever drop off of my favorite list)

Milviz F-86F (Surprised by the drastic increase in quality of developer's products. Great subject as well)

RealAir Lancair Legacy (Hands down the best traditional GA plane available for FSX)

VRS F-18E Super Hornet (Very surprised this one isn't mentioned anymore. Still the best modern mil jet available IMHO)

There are so many good addons today. Plenty of other planes that should be mentioned but just don't fit on a list of 10. 25 might be a little more realistic. We are spoiled these days...

1: PMDG 737NGX

PMDG offers great support, realistic documentation and an outstanding level of detail. Their support forum offers a great depth of knowledge on all things FSX.

2: VRS Superbug FA-18E with TacPack

This is by far the best military A/C for FSX. It offers an immersive simulation of all aircraft systems including all AG and AA weapons. Their addon TacPack provides realistic aerial confrontation in both single and multiplayer environments.

3: Eaglesoft Diamond DA-42tdi

The Diamond DA-42tdi is an advanced composite airframe GA twin with a Garmin G-1000 glass cockpit and twin turbo diesel -- yep I said diesel -- power plants. With it's constant speed varible pitch props and computer assisted ignition and fuel injection, it is an absolute joy to fly and includes Eaglesoft's usual attention to detail and support. This my all time favorite GA aircraft - well mannered but with the legs to do some serious cross country flying in any type of weather.

4: Eaglesoft Cessna CitationX, version 2.0

This GA Business class jet offers .95 Mach performance with trans Atlantic range. The systems simulation is realistic and Eaglesoft actually models the FADEC engine controls.

Sorry about giving you my top four -- never could count :).
