July 28, 200421 yr I agree on the FD. I did fly it a couple of hours before I gave up and found the handling to be quite strange, particularly in roll mode. Oh well, live and learn. I'll just add it to the junk pile. I have now resolved to never, ever, buy another GA aircraft unless it's from Dreamfleet or RealAir.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. July 28, 200421 yr well i allready have 2 payware Cherokees (archer and dakota) so i don't need another. it may cost $30 dollars with VAT added but don't forget the dollar is pretty weak compared to european currency so its not so much.

July 29, 200421 yr Think Barry means $40 - $50AU dollars. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
July 29, 200421 yr Shane that would be priced as A$ 50.00. Net/Net same money equivalent. Still, price is high for what is being offerred.Eric AND
July 29, 200421 yr >Think Barry means $40 - $50AU dollars. Yes, he does mean AU dollars, however if it didn't say what currency it was in then its a different story which is what it started out as. :)--Jason
July 29, 200421 yr > Truly a wonderful product.I hope it was meant as a joke. If it was freeware I would not utter a word but being a payware (and over $9.95) I want to speak my mind.Michael J. Michael J.
July 29, 200421 yr The reason Brad has it priced at USD$25.00 is that the Australian Dollar is NOT an intl trading currency and most of the world will purchase in USD, Sterling or the Euro !!As for going offshore to sell this product, id suggest you try to approach an Australian Bank, then get them to Give you a merchant account after telling them your selling software without charging you the earth, ontop of all the added bank fees and the monthly account fee. As for the exchange rate, at current USD$25.00 = A$37.00 plus what ever Your bank charges for the exchange rate.Dont forget, to sell in A$ from an Australian Bank Account will drive up the price to the point of it not being commercially viable, price wise!Seems we are knocking down the Tall poppies before they have had chance to take root !Jeff
July 29, 200421 yr well, for all you complaining that this model isnt good and that the dreamfleet archer is better, here is some food for thought...the real archer pitches up with the extension of flaps, the DreamFleet one pitches down. how the bloody hell is something that friggin simple missed?it does not look right either. the real one looks a lot wider than the DF one...oh and how do you determine the wheels on Brad's warrior are too large? please let me know as im rather interested.the PW III panel is ugly you think? well, go to www.airliners.net and look at some real PW III panels and tell me what you think of those. they are just as plain.how real do you think FS will get and how real do you think it is??? what makes you think all those Dreamfleet and PSS planes etc fly real but this one doesnt? have you got experience in a C310, PA28, B747 and can compare it to the sim??? chances are you dont, especially in those heavies.. yes it does slip, like the real thing. and no it does not spin, like the real thing.i challenge ANY of you people to come up with a Better PA28-161 on your own... go on do it and lets see what kind fo #### gets thrown back at you...Jeff Bias - what is so 'off' about the exterior model?1280x960x32- thats friggin huge.. have you tried lowering the resolution to see what its like- or getting glasses?????
July 29, 200421 yr I have not tried the product myself yet, but if talking about the exterior model and panel that I have seen in screenshots - I have no complains so far. I have flown a Piper enough to tell you if a panel is realistic or not or if the model is whether good or bad. And wheels are too bad?? What makes you thinking that. Have you ever seen wheels of different Pipers? First: we cant say that all wheels are same. There's not only one type, there are several types of tires available for airplanes just like for cars. And all these are a bit different from eacher other. From screenshot I would not say they are too big. Even the engine covers are opening exactly like with real one.The panel of new Warrior is exactly that "ugly". Maybe you like this one more? http://www.airliners.net/open.file/535812/M/I agree with you Piper Flyer. At least the visual is not so bad like they are talking here.
July 29, 200421 yr Are you talking about flight director or flight dynamics regarding that FD? I'm assuming apples and oranges are being compared here. If it was in roll mode, your reference must be autopilot?I'd love to hear from at least one person who **likes** the way this plane flies and how the cockpit appears, otherwise there really is no decision to be made. Thanks,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
July 29, 200421 yr I have been reading this thread and certain points make me feel uncomfortable.Firstly I do not own this aircraft and as such would rather wait for a proper test by someone with experience before casting comments. As for the price I dont think $25 is expensive for any aircraft considering the volume of work required to turn out a complete aircraft nowadays.People will happily pay $200-300 for a new graphix card or a computer upgrade on an item with a high volume turnover but moan about paying $25 for a low volume turnover high labour aircraft.I do not know this plane and agree that expectations are now high for the quality expected.I too have purchased aircraft which have not met my expectations of what they have promised in their advertising blurb.I expect the quality of PMDG or the Kingair 200, anything less is unnaceptable but then I would pay $50 for PMDGs offering.Lastly we talk of realistic handling but we are still way off having anything more than a realistic flavour of true aircraft handling.Try flying a real citation business jet or for that fact a light Seneca five twin and feel the real forces required to pitch and roll these aircraft at differing speeds which can vary from muscle forming force to finger tip delicacy and you will know what I mean.Try to rotate a citation at VR and you will appreciate the heave that is required to pitch the aircraft up to 10 degrees.Couple with that the relationship between the aircraft and the fluid airmass it operates in and you will realise how lacking our sims still are in across the board dynamics and realistic air and weather mass.take carePeter Sidoli
